00:00 Hey everyone, it’s John Sosha and I’m the co-founder and CEO here at time.org.
00:02 We figured we should make some videos periodically to help you understand what new features we’ve been working on to make your practice a little bit easier. Specifically, this is time 0.11.3.
00:17 For whatever that numerical means, I’m here to help explain things that have changed recently and that we’ve updated for you. But first, a prelude. We’ve seen some amazing work from our member firms and we were so excited we wanted to share some highlights.
00:31 We have seen some stunning numbers out of our user base upon time adoption, particularly this last quarter. Here are a few outstanding results we just picked out of a hat.
00:41 To all of our clients, thank you. It is thrilling to help make your practice easier to manage and exciting for us to watch you absolutely have the time of your lives making the worst parts of our job—billing—a little more bearable. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
00:59 Now, let’s jump into some proper feature highlights.
01:01 First, some housekeeping. Over the last 6 weeks, we’ve launched a huge variety of bug fixes, stability changes, and sync hardening measures to help time just work better. If we’ve done our job, most of you haven’t noticed anything different—and that’s a good thing.
01:19 We’ve also cleaned up menus, made onboarding more intuitive, launched behind-the-scenes changes, and even rolled out a new time.org website.
01:31 Now, you may have noticed some brand new tabs on your dashboard. Let’s start with the Targets tab. Progress towards targets is now more visualized and intuitive. If your team dips below daily objectives, the line turns orange; if you meet or exceed, it turns green. You can edit monthly or annual objectives for any team member at any time.
02:11 Next, the Teams tab gives the same view at the practice group level, helping diagnose problems beyond individuals.
02:23 Then, the Billables tab. This provides a granular breakdown of your firm’s revenue sources, showing percent share of top billers, practice areas, and teams. You can compare revenue versus prior years, monthly averages, and top-performing practice areas.
03:11 Finally, the Matters tab. This monitors client communications for complaints, disputes, or billing issues. Alerts flag instantly for managers to review—even if they’re not on the email chain. You can escalate issues, track compliments, and identify both low-risk clients and rockstar staff.
04:56 At our practice, we know how important it is to get the positivity known as well as the negativity. Time will get you more visibility at every level of your team, and we hope it’s as helpful for you as it is helpful for us.
05:17 These features are live but mostly beta. They’re our first MVP—useful, but not perfect. To improve them, we rely on your feedback. Please report issues or suggestions via the dashboard or email support@time.org.
06:06 See you soon.
